Flat Rosie Arrives!

If you have been following our Blog, you will have noticed that we have embarked on a journey with an Australian school, where we host "Flat Rosie' for a period of time.

Flat Rosie is a paper friend, who has travelled around the world together with her koala bear companion and a book about Australia and an "I Wonder" book of questions about South Africa, which our Grade 2's will answer.

Flat Rosie arrived on Friday last week, and spent her first weekend with her Grade 2 friend.  Today, the class has been busy learning about Australia, colouring in pictures about it and watching some wonderful You Tube clips on Ralph Harris' Australian songs, which of course, if you remember them, were a lot of fun!

      Hello 2T! We are having lots of fun and are really enjoying showing Rosie our town and introducing her to our friends. We have told Rosie all about the SA Bokkie and she whispered to me, that she wanted to write on her blog to tell you all about what she has learnt. We hope you enjoy reading it.

    Great to see Flat Rosie in Cape Town! She is in England too, and I think Mrs Thomas in Sydney has started something very exciting. It is enabling us to connect with schools (and the people inside them)all over the world. Awesome.

      Rosie is having a real adventure travelling far and wide,seeing the world. She is going to have so many interesting stories to tell when she arrives home.
